By Sustrans routes I assume you're referring to the national cycle network.

You generally can't tell OsmAnd to direct you exclusively along these 
paths. OsmAnd will route you along these paths or other cycleways when in 
bike mode and when following those paths makes sense for your route. 
(Generally, shorter distances are preferred, with a slight weighting to 
cycle paths if they don't make the route much longer.)

If there's a specific route you're planning and OsmAnd doesn't route you 
along a nearby cycle path, you can add a waypoint there to force OsmAnd to 
route you there. In practice, several waypoints might be needed, because 
OsmAnd might determine that it's quicker for you to then leave the cycle 
path soon after you've passed your waypoint.

To start navigation, select where you want to go. You can do this either by 
searching or by long-pressing your destination on the map, and then tapping 
the blue directions button which appears.
