Hi Matt - Sorry for slow response - Its been a silly week. There is no external SD card in this phone - It is borrowed - though maybe the owner had one.
You're right, I should be able to share from within the app. (via three dots, etc), but at each attempt I get a message “*Sending file to [laptop]*”, followed by *“Unable to open file for sharing*”. Other files on the phone seem to "share" as they should. You say "*plug phone into laptop, copy files. .... the gpx files are stored - in OsmAnd+ they are in Android >data >net.osmand.plus >files >tracks (>rec for recorded tracks)".* Thanks for confirming the location, I was beginning to think I'd lost the plot. The core of the problem is that when I plug the phone into laptop I can see loads of files but not Osmand. I go to "*This PC\GT-I8190N\Phone\Android\data".* In *"Data"* are loads of files, from *"com.android.browser"* to *"it.navionics.singleAppUKHollandHD"*. but no sign of* ">data >net.osmand.plus *". On my Tablet I can see Osmand files without any problem. There seems to be something about this phone that (a) prevents sharing, (b) makes Osmand Files invisible. Still hoping for a solution!
