Just a few days ago I downloaded OSMand for my iPhone 6s Plus. I've been using Garmin devices for over 15 years. I downloaded the free map of Texas, and the free Wiki Points of interest. I tried to route to an address today, but no joy. 1. when I typed the address, OSMand would either not search for it, or it couldn't find i. 2. I then went to Google maps and retrieved the lat/lon coordinates for that address. I typed those coordinates into OSMand, and it found the spot. I made it a Favorite. 3. I then clicked on the Favorite and asked OSM to route to it. It would not. On the top of the screen, it would tell me how far away the Favorite was, and it told me when I got there. But it would not tell me how to get there. No routing instructions, either voice or on the app at all. Questions: 1. What might I be doing wrong? Are there some app / phone settings I need to adjust? 2. Do I possibly need to buy a more premium OSMand product to make routing work? I'm really just experimenting with routing on my iPhone right now. My Garmin devices work fine, and Google Maps on the phone is good enough.
