Hello,
I am a contributor and user of Wikivoyage and GPX files (with location
positioning for the POIs) are available to download from every single page.
I am also a heavy user of OSMAND+ and that integration between the two
platforms is quite ideal, so I can upload my GPXs into my offline maps and
travel freely finding previously saved POIs. Now I would like to be able to
read the description of the POIs (to use OSMAND as a portable travel guide)
and I would like to know what is the specific code we need to add to the
current GPX files.
I tried adding the command <COMMENT> but did't work so befere starting to
mess around is better I ask the gurus how we could embed that.

A little example to give you an idea is this page:

https://it.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Erbil

Where we can download the GPX fom the top right corner, by the Lat. and
Long. coordinates.

The code is now something like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
<gpx version="1.1" creator="Wikivoyage"
  xmlns="http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1";
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance";
  xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1
http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1/gpx.xsd";>
  <wpt lat="36.1910" lon="44.0090">
    <name>[See 01] Cittadella di Erbil</name>
    <type>see</type>
    <extensions>
      <color>#4682b4</color>
    </extensions>
  </wpt>
</gpx>

Thanks  a lot.
Emanuele
