Hi Aceman,

I just got back my Huawei from the service center. They repaired under
warranty replacing one component (did not say which, my guess is the
display but I have no proof). I then went to Google and looked for OsmAnd,
when I said Download (url: osmand.net/downloads) a pop up appeared saying
"this type of file can harm your device. Do you want to keep
net.osmand-2.7.5.apk anyway?"; needless to say I canceled. I then went to
OsmAnd+ from GooglePlay (no url shown) and was led to "install" which I
executed.
Instead of launching the application I ran the virus scanner (it comes with
the phone) which found it clean, only then I launched it. I downloaded a
couple of maps and everything seems ok, but only a few minutes went by so
far.
I'll keep you up to date with what goes on in the next days.
