Hello I have tons of GPX-data (about 1GB) which I want to display on my Osmand app. Loading the GPX-files the traditional way via gpx-import is extremely slow. My idea is to create an overlay map out of my data, however, after hours of searching for solutions to the problem I have still no clue how to do that. It seems that the only way to convert a map in a format which is readable for the Osmand app is the Mobile Atlas Creator (MOBAC) but it is not possible to render GPX-data with that software.
Anybody suggestions what I could do? I am familiar with programming (especially C++ and Python) and have working version of Mapnik on my computer, in case that makes things easier. I would really appreciate any kind of hints and tips which help me to finish my little project. Thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Osmand" group.
