Thank you Peter for your advise. Yes I tried that address to and that did not clear my problem. My path to the SD card is clearly "sdcard1". I have the feeling Osmand has no permission to read/write to external SD card. I noticed from your response, your devise is rooted maybe that makes a difference. I will try that and report the result. Hans
