I am starting to get some serious use of Osmand and find a couple of features that would seem to be easily improved (unless I am making some mistakes):
1) After setting up a route, deleteing it (X) and then starting a new one, as soon as the new "Directions from" is entered Osmand jumps ahead and uses a previous "To" destination to calculate a route. This is unnecessary and irritating as it is unlikely the destination chosen is the one desired. I think Osmand should just wait for a "To" input before proceeding. 2) When a route is deleted (X) in, for example, the pedestrian mode Osmand jumps back to the generic mode instead of staying in the one previously used. Again, it is unlikely that the new route will be desired to be displayed in a different mode so I think Osmand should stay in that initial mode until turned off or changed manually. 3) Osmand is a rather complex app; it is necessary to back up to previous screens frequently so it is easy to forget that one more click back might turn off Osmand, which then requires a new bootup. There should be a screen warning asking if one really wants to close Osmand or not. All in all Osmand is a great app that just needs a bit of polishing. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Osmand" group.
