> Majka - Got that - Fine - Managed to allow non-Playstore apps. > Peter - Found a version of OsmAnd small enough install without blocking the emailer (that was the app which previously kept complaining) Version now testing is 1.3.1-138.apk. 18Mb in the OsmAnd database, and 29.92 when installed. "Settings, Storage" now says available space is 310 MB. If dimphone doesn't complain about lack of space I'll either settle for this OsmAnd version or try gradually testing larger (more recent) versions. > Harry - Thanks for the shrunk World Map idea. I'll try to keep it in mind for if it looks as if it might help. Probably depends on the relatives sizes of the app and the map. >All - Thanks for the input and patience. Hopefully this is now about as well resolved as it can be, and I understand the way forward. Paul W
