Modify the Local tab of the download maps tab use check boxes to enable/disable 
offline vector maps rather than moving them to a different file list which you 
have to scroll to find.

MANAGE MAPS would be a better name for the DOWNLOAD MAPS menu, since it does 
much more than download.

Make the default tab in Download Maps page the Local tab. Avoids needing to 
load the entire list of world maps.

 After update, restore only language tts files found in the existing install. 
Although they do not use much storage they use up lots of space in the Local 
tab of the Download Maps page. 

Add "add a photo" to dropped pin "take photo" option list so you can add browse 
for a photo you have already taken instead of using the camera.

A way to turn off display of Wikipedia POIs so that you can enable display of 
all POIs except the huge number of Wikipedia POIs.

A way to delete Wikipedia POIs for a given area.

Named custom filters to be used for both search and map poi displays. Option to 
display custom filter name on the top of the screen or not.

Make start simulation function available as a custom button.

Ability to abort a route calculation that is taking too long.

Add favorites as a category you can search for from the search on "search near 
here" menu. It's not obvious you can search favorites by name in the search 
menu. Adding a favorites category that would present the list as the dashboard 
search shows.

Custom vehicle icons that correspond to the navigation profile  settings. 
Ability to make copies of existing navigation profiles and assign a custom 
navigation and vehicle icons to it. For example, a 4x4 truck, ATV, snowmobile 
or hiker. Associate a default set of online and offline maps with each profile.
