Hi, If you've activated the trip recording plugin you're half way there already.
Select "Configure screen" from the main menu, and enable the "GPX logging" widget. You should now have a "GPX" button at the top-right of your window. Press it to start recording. The icon will turn red. Press it again to either start a new segment, or stop recording. Once you've stopped, press the button again to save the recording.
