One thing to check is whether the phantom road is on OpenStreetMap, which is the basis for maps on OsmAnd. I think the area you're referring to is here: https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=15/45.6194/6.0802
If so or if it's nearby, do you see the road? If you do, try using the Query feature button on the right to determine what kind of feature you're looking at. If the map is wrong, OpenStreetMap can be edited, and those edits will eventually be reflected on OsmAnd.
