Hi folks, When saving the current route as gpx the track within the gpx-file does not contain a name tag. Most software and many devices dealing with gpx will display the contents of this name-tag (and not the gpx filename). Reason is that there can be multiple tracks within a gpx-file and only name-tag allows to differentiate in between the different tracks. (Same with routes).
I did create a pull-request on github that addresses this issue a week ago, but no feedback or comment so far: https://github.com/osmandapp/Osmand/pull/5962 There has been plenty of other activity (commits and quite a bunch of other pull-requests) on the osmand-repo within this week. I noticed other pull-requests usually do not get any comments before being merged. That made me feel the developers do not actually use the pull-request feature to review contributions but do communicate by other means (like a mailing-list). I don't know how the process in osmand-project is - do I need to get in contact with the team to discuss the pull-request first? And if so, what is the expected way to do that? regards, Norbert Truchsess -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Osmand" group.
