But you are now more or less speaking with BRouter in your mind which can
use multiple profiles for car, bicycle and pedestrian.
For OsmAnd car routing there is technically speaking only one profile which
you can influence by select shortest/fastest route,
In fact not, but it is a terminology confusion O created,
what is meant by different profiles in context of different optimal
heuristic coefficients.
In the BRouter context,
it is indeed the chosen profile file.
In the OSMand context,
it is combination of transportation mode( car/bike/foot),
routing mode ( fast, short ) and routing options ( no tolls, no motorways,
no unpaved roads etc).
