I prefer using the Android app "GPS Logger" which drains less battery. Furthermore you can store waypoints with a meaningful name at any time. You can edit these tracks with the app "GPS Track Editor" and view them with the app "GPX Viewer". You can then copy these GPX files into the OSMAND folder net.osmand.plus/files/tracks using any file manager like FX. Tracks in that folder can be displayed (and followed) in OSMAND. Helmut
