It is possible but only if your system lets you. Usually, the restriction 
has nothing to do with OsmAnd and everything with Android.

Check, if you can move the path on both directly to an OsmAnd folder in 
your device's root directory. But don't forget first to backup your data 
(simply copy it somewhere else, then, change the data directory in OsmAnd, 
then, copy the data to this directory).
