I suggest NOT to use favourites. It is possible to use it the way you want, 
but it is clumsy in comparison to the alternative. Leave in favourites only 
few points (home/work/whatever) you are using all the time. 

Simply use "import" folder or subfolder and put the gpx there without 
importing - use file explorer in Android to put it there. Then, open the 
"track" with the gpx - OsmAnd won't complain and will show the points from 
this gpx. I am using this for own POIs, which are changing all the time. 
You can have several gpx for several groups, easily set color for all of 
it, show / hide all at the same time.
