You MUST fix a new named category, otherwise it's not usable. The way to import a GPX file could be a good way if it works. Unfortunately, in the actual version, from osmand favourites, the + touch to import allows you only to import JPG or MP4 files and in the download or pictures ...directory... but the application wants a GPX file. So you have to rename GPX in .JPG for osmand accept the file. It's a shame ! Others tricky bugs are in the Marks maintenance, so the most usable way (for me) to prepare a trip is still to generate a favourites.gpx file and replace the existing file with it. By restarting osmand, this one add the favourites.gpx points to the existing favourites...
