Hi, srtm.obf are the "level courves" maps AKA relief maps.
You only need them if you are hiking, biking or similar.

.obf are the standard maps used for routing.


BTW
Are you aware that "roads only" maps are available for routing?
They use less less space on disc at the cost of lacking some details.
