Go to Settings / Extensions / OSMAnd-Development There tap on the triple dots, and then on settings. There is a menu point "test language announcement" or similar. A menu with all supported languages pops up. Press on the desired language. Again, a menu of several announcements in English pops up. Press on any, you should hear this announcement in the selected language. (note, my current language setting is not English, so the buttons might be labeled differently)
