Sorry, I am incorrect. 1) DOES function. If I "stupidly" click the grey "Start" button it gives an error that it doesn't have a location, but when I then activate location on my phone and simply wait, it does the calculation and starts navigation. So the button is grey as if inactivated, but it does work. This is terrible from application design point of view.
