It induces errors, thinking that there was no camera in my city, I
added them several times with OsmAnd and it created duplicates a
little bit everywhere.
If you are serious about adding data to OSM, you likely want to look
into Vespucci:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Vespucci
https://f-droid.org/en/packages/de.blau.android/
It will show you everthing in OSM, in real time (as of your last
request for data from the OSM servers via Vespucci) and allow you to
add/edit anything.
