A specific example was "United States Massachusetts".

I have been checking daily since about 8/11, and yesterday it was still
showing "Jun 30".  Just now it shows "Jul 31", so apparently things are
better.

(I usually download Mass every month, because I am an active mapper.
Far-away tates that I have loaded I tend to only refresh when they are a
year old, and the adjoining ones I sometimes visit every few months, or
prior to visiting.  I don't know what others do, but it seems piggy to
use resources to freshen maps when that freshness doesn't do me any
good.  Probably it's too complicated to have 3 settings of freshness
that can be applied, and have the main refresh button follow that
guidance, basically refresh "slow" maps if more than 12months old,
"medium" if more than 3, and "fast" if there is a new version.)
