Hello, since yesterday I have a problem with my Osmand+. It can't access the external SD-card any more on which all data is stored. The SD-card seems to be mounted properly because other apps can still access it. The data is still present.
Samsung S5neo Android 6.0.1 Osmand: current version I guess because it always auto updates The phone is rooted. Generally I know about the problem of access rights for apps to the SD-card on Marshmallow, but till yesterday it worked. The Xposed module "Marshmallow SD fix" is installed and Osmand+ is ticked in it, though I don't remember if that was at all necessary when I installed Osmand years ago - I rather believe Osmand was installed first and worked. I suspect uninstalling and re-installing might help, but I'm reluctant to try before having tried other options, because I would have to adjust all my personal settings. (I believe I had learned there was something like an automatic backup of settings via Google, but this seems not to work on my device, maybe due to the old Android version.) I made an adb backup of Osmand, but I'm not sure what is actually contained in the file (106MB in size). I can't look inside, I tried to follow several advices on how to do that, but failed. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OsmAnd" group.
