Thanks for this hint. I had not seen or tried under ‘My Places – Tracks – Appearance’, but continued to use the old path ‘Configure map – Tracks’ (with quite limited functionality). ‘My Places – Tracks’ is new from rel. 3.8 <https://osmand.net/blog/osmand-3-8-released>. For me, changing line width using the Thin Medium Bold buttons works fine, no need to use Custom. It looks like with rel. 3.8 the new ‘My Places – Tracks – Appearance’ was brought in and the old ‘Configure map – Tracks – Appearance’ forgotten. The old one is neither turned off nor linked to the new one. It still has some functionality and effect on tracks, but quite weird (if I copy a new track to folder files/tracks, then I can still change color with the old Appearance, but not line width any more). *This is inconsistent and confusing.* I believe this should be changed. *Any moderator or similar who can comment on this?* Depending on comment I could raise an issue in Github for this.
