Subject: Re: Osmand+ terribly slow after an update to Android 11.
I am experiencing the same issue: since I updated my phone to A11 (LOS 18.1), Osmand+ began to work very, very slowly and laggy. The app has been re-installed after upgrading the OS, so there shouldn't be any old legacies lying around.Osmand offers the following storage places on my phone:- internal app memory: hidden from users and other apps (no location shown)- shared memory: /storage/emulated/0/osmand (that's the one I am using now)- external memory 1: /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/net.osmand.plus/files- multiple user memory 1: /storage/emulated/0/Android/obb/net.osmand.plus (in German: "Mehrbenutzer-Speicher 1")- manually specifiedWhich one do you suggest I should try to make Osmand speed up a bit?--[email protected] schrieb am Sonntag, 18. Change storage folder: Shared memory.Fingers crossed! On Sat, 17 Apr 2021, 23:28 Bas G. Just an idea but I vaguely remember a similar problem when I moved to Android 11What is the 'shared space'? The SD card? Some part of it? Something else?--On Fri, 16 Apr 2021, 10:15 Bas G. The same applies for some other applications.I already uninstalled and reinstalled Osmand, while restarting my phone a few times. The problem persists. What to do next? Factory reset? Or anything else?Yours.Bas.(Utrecht, NL.)
