wow harry, that is great news, I had never read that before in all the 
discussions about inaccessible osmand files! now I did as proposed and will 
de-install osmand in order/hope to get it back to working. as you know it 
had become unusably slow. please tell me/us: what within the completely 
copied files-folder should I *NOT* copy to the newly installed osmand plus 
in order to make it work as it did for a very long time? remember: there is 
also your 1,2-routing file as routing.xml! thanks a lot!
