Hi everyone,

I'm new to the group but have been using OSMAnd for a few years with a
heavily customized routing.xml to bike more safely around the city.

One thing I haven't figured out is how to modify routing.xml to prioritize
intersections with traffic lights. The reason I find traffic lights
preferable is that crossing an arterial road on the bike without them feels
like playing *Frogger*.

As far as I know, only positive values are allowed for routing costs, so
the minimum cost you can assign to traffic_signals is zero. If assigning a
negative cost to traffic lights isn't possible, is there any other way to
detect when a crossing involves an arterial road? The "point" label in
routing.xml doesn’t seem to account for the ways coming in or out of a
point, and the "priority" property only affects ways, not points.

Thanks!

David
