Firstly, a thank you. Great stuff.
Now the request. For the nodes, you have a "node-key" and
"node-key-value" filters, but for the ways you only have a
"way-key-value". I would find a "way-key" filter valuable for extracting
only "highway" information from an OSM file (eg excluding coastlines,
railroads etc.). I understand I would still get all the nodes unless I
then apply the --used-node filter.
