Hello everybody, may I introduce myself: My Name is Daniel and I'm studiing applied siences at the "Fachhochschule Hannover" in Germany. For my Bachelors degree I'm trying to develop a navigation software for blind and visually impared people. One of the goals to this software is to add OSM Data so that you can "see" whats next to you. btw: The Sofware is called LoroDux and must be written in J2ME (CLDC 1.1/MIDP 2.0).
I found, that libOSM might be a possibility to get the osm-Data on a Smartphone. Of cause I have to adopt the j2se-code into j2me, but this should be so difficult. My Problem ist: I just don't get the osmbin plugin working into osmosis to create the osmbin-files out of a osm-XML. On my Machine is running Win 7 enterprise and I cannot write in the Applocation Data Folder. So I copied the libosm-2.5.2-RC1-plugin_for_osmosis-0.32.zip into the bin directory of osmosis-0.32. But if I use this command: osmosis --read-xml file="map.osm" --writeOsmBin-0.6 dir="osmbin-map" I get a OsmosisRuntimeException: Task Type writeOsmBin-0.6 does not exist. Can anyone please help? Kind Regards Daniel P.S.: Sorry for my bad english... _______________________________________________ osmosis-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/osmosis-dev
