Hi Sam, Can you please provide the full output of the Osmosis command when you try to run it? I still don't know what error you're encountering. There may be bugs in the osmosis.bat script, but until I see the error message I won't know what they are.
The only assumption it makes is that you have a working Java 1.6 installation on your system. No other software needs to be installed. As for which Osmosis to download, you should never be downloading an osmosis.jar file.
