I had a doubt in forwarding address field in Type-7 LSA.
what would be the forwarding address for below scenarios.
R1 ---Area0-----R2(10.0.0.1/8)-------Area1 NSSA----------(10.0.0.2/8)
R3(20.0.0.1)---------------(20.0.0..2/8)R4(loopback0 - 100.0.0.1/32)
Static route configured in R3 "ip route 100.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 20.0.0.2"
1.What would be forwarding address, when the nexthop interface of
100.0.0.0/32 network is not added into OSPF NSSA Area-1 ?2.What would be
forwarding address, when the nexthop interface of 100.0.0.0/32 network is
added into OSPF NSSA Area-1 through network command and the interface is not
passive ?3.What would be forwarding address, when the nexthop interface of
100.0.0.0/32 network is added into OSPF NSSA Area-1 through network command
and the interface is not passive ? I have seen three different address in above
scenarios. Please help me to understand this.
