As long as it can be disabled (at compile time is fine), since we don't need it for BeOS and Haiku, we have a userland soft mixer in the server, so that would avoids adding overhead... I finally got hg working in BeOS (but they use #!/usr/bin/env python to locate it... causing env to fail to be located because we don't have / usr :^). So I'll try to move my port to it.
