No. The only messages I get are at `soundon` and whenever a new player starts playing. I was thinking about that too, since it seemed strange. The only difference is that d1 doesn't seem to have vmix. But changing mixer values on d1 also distorts sound. I'm also attaching output from ossmix -d0 and -d1. As you can see, d1 lacks pcm2, depth, rear, center and everything starting with vmix0.
