deff userdev_demo # vmixctl attach /dev/oss/oss_audigyls0/pcm0 VMIXCTL_ATTACH: Input/output error Yes, I did run soundoff; soundon before trying this. :( Might this be related to "vmix_disabled=1" in my /usr/lib/oss/conf/osscore.conf file? Without it I wouldn't be able to attach VMIX to the audigyls card anyways, because VMIX is attached by default to that device... Anything I'm doing wrong? :P Well at least... since detaching doesn't work yet I thought disabling VMIX would be a good way preventing it from being attached to any device... but it seems like this option would disable VMIX totally, snap. :) Guess I am in need of detaching first, sorry for the caused inconvenience.
