The attached patch includes some small changes:
1. Fix soundcard.h bug (#ifdef correctly for OSS_NO_LONG_LONG)
2. Declare class=PCI_CLASS_MULTIMEDIA_AUDIO for pci drivers (helps with
xchat-xsys "/sysinfo" command).
3. Don't run remove_drv.sh from soundon unless it's clearly necessary.
4. Misc. changes.Btw, I've noticed some dubious material in some webpages: http://manuals.opensound.com/developer/callorder.html - Didn't the order used to be "format, channels, speed" rather than c/f/s? http://www.opensound.com/pguide/oss.pdf p.31 seems to say so. Also I think that SNDCTL_DSP_SYNC can be used in "running" state too. http://manuals.opensound.com/devlists/ - "Also Creative X-Fi is not supported by OSS". Somewhat inaccurate. Yours, Yair K.
