Hi, The documentation for SNDCTL_DSP_GETOPTR says ".The blocks field tells how many fragments have been playback since the last time this call was made (can be used for overun detection).". But the function is also declared obsolete. Are SNDCTL_DSP_CURRENT_OPTR/ SNDCTL_DSP_CURRENT_IPTR the new version of the old code? Can those functions be used to detect underrun/overrun cases? How? Is there any code example for that?
