Hi, This patch changes the oss_hdaudio driver so that the stream numbers are assigned uniquely inside a controller.
This should fix issues with HDA controllers attached to multiple codecs. I came across this when developing the Si3055 modem driver. However, as this would be useful for the rare case when a HDA card comes with more than one audio codec, I'm submitting this as a separate patch, so you can apply it to OSS 4.1 too if you like it.
