hi, i was wanted to try oss4 and found that my card at the early beta support or so~ and cant get working.
my distro - gentoo x86_64. and i'm using oss-devel overlay. after starting with "soundon" after compiling&installing latest oss-devel sources or after reboot - im getting that: oss_sbxfi 0000:02:00.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 16 Switching to xfi core... oss_sbxfi: Init Hardware failed... oss_sbxfi 0000:02:00.0: PCI INT A disabled oss_sbxfi: probe of 0000:02:00.0 failed with error -5 http://pastebin.ca/1967449 is the /var/log/soundon.log if im trying to "soundoff" after that - im getting kernel panic. i tryed 2.6.32-2.6.36 kernels and get no difference. i can provide any more info and help to solve that thing to get my card working. _______________________________________________ oss-devel mailing list oss-devel@mailman.opensound.com http://mailman.opensound.com/mailman/listinfo/oss-devel
