So I have a strange problem with logging from a cisco 837 router.

I have the following commands regarding logging:

logging buffered 10000 debugging
no logging console
logging facility local5
logging 172.16.128.2

and

no service timestamps debug uptime
no service timestamps log uptime

apparently

no service sequence-numbers is the default and doesn't show. If
I turn it on, sequence numbers show up in the local router log.

The problem is the sequence numbers are showing up in the syslog
output. Anyone run across this before. Any way around it without
re-writing the syslog decoder?

I'm running Cisco IOS Software, C837 Software (C837-K9O3SY6-M), Version
12.3(11)T10, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc4)

thanks,

ted
