-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 So I have a strange problem with logging from a cisco 837 router.
I have the following commands regarding logging: logging buffered 10000 debugging no logging console logging facility local5 logging 172.16.128.2 and no service timestamps debug uptime no service timestamps log uptime apparently no service sequence-numbers is the default and doesn't show. If I turn it on, sequence numbers show up in the local router log. The problem is the sequence numbers are showing up in the syslog output. Anyone run across this before. Any way around it without re-writing the syslog decoder? I'm running Cisco IOS Software, C837 Software (C837-K9O3SY6-M), Version 12.3(11)T10, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc4) thanks, ted - -- Ted Frohling (TF30-ARIN) 520.621.4834 www.frohling.org ted-at-frohling-dot-org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFG11WzEss6H12kSKIRAsX9AKC+82Krt+DDIWMcrMmN7uaDaqXUwgCdHe7v CY6nQB01jx3Bgl8HsRoKLg8= =izWD -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
