Greetings: Daniel trouble shooted the issue.
If I am stating it correctly, it was an issue of using both granular emails with a long active response list. Daniel provided http://www.ossec.net/files/snapshots/ossec-hids-071126.tar.gz which appears to have resolved the issue (thank God). Thank you.
