Well, after an hour of it I needed to figure out what was going on.

On the server I rebooted last night I removed the section for the Event logs
in the config file.  Restarted the service and it was ok.  I then cleared
out the event logs, put the config back to original and restarted the
service again.  No problems.

Looks like the issue has something to do with going through the even logs.

I have it even higher on my servers both 32 adn 64 bit, running around 90%.
After a few minutes it settles down though. I would like to know what it is
