I have a few Windows 2000 servers that run into RPC problems after having the OSSEC 1.5 Agents installed. The system starts running slower then RPC becomes unresponsive. Usually a hard reboot is requires as the system is too unresponsive to login to. Since weve only deployed this to Windows 2000 domain controllers those are the only ones showing problems however it only seems to happen to 25% of them.
Any ideas on why this is happening and any suggestions on how to further narraw down the problem? Brett
