Hi Kevin,

It seems that Apache can't write to your ./tmp directory. Did you run
step 6 from the install docs?
( http://www.ossec.net/wiki/index.php/OSSECWUI:Install )

6- Fix the permissions for the tmp directory and restart Apache (for
the new permissions to work)
   # chmod 770 tmp/
   # chgrp www tmp/
   # apachectl restart

*note that www must be the apache user (generally www or apache or www-data).
