Hello While installing the msWindows agent of ossec on a bunch of servers, the installation runs without reporting any problem. However, after installation only a few servers do run the ossec-service. A bunch of machines do not show the new service in the services list.
Starting the manage-agent clearly shows the service is not running. Trying to start the service fails with the error "Unable to start OSSEC (check config)". The configuration is carefully checked and compares well to successfull running agents: only the local machine specification differs. Is there a way to debug the installation of the service? Is there a way to manually install the service? Thanks Corné
