I have a problem with 2 of my sun servers running ossec (2.0). One of them has Solaris 5.9 installed, the other one 5.10. Once i start ossec via ossec-control start i get the following in the ossec.log: 2009/03/26 12:15:48 ossec-syscheckd(1210): ERROR: Queue '/var/ossec/queue/ossec/queue' not accessible: 'Destination address required'. 2009/03/26 12:15:48 ossec-rootcheck(1210): ERROR: Queue '/var/ossec/queue/ossec/queue' not accessible: 'Destination address required'. 2009/03/26 12:15:54 ossec-logcollector(1210): ERROR: Queue '/var/ossec/queue/ossec/queue' not accessible: 'Destination address required'. 2009/03/26 12:15:54 ossec-logcollector(1211): ERROR: Unable to access queue: '/var/ossec/queue/ossec/queue'. Giving up.. 2009/03/26 12:15:56 ossec-syscheckd(1210): ERROR: Queue '/var/ossec/queue/ossec/queue' not accessible: 'Destination address required'. 2009/03/26 12:15:56 ossec-rootcheck(1210): ERROR: Queue '/var/ossec/queue/ossec/queue' not accessible: 'Destination address required'. 2009/03/26 12:16:09 ossec-syscheckd(1210): ERROR: Queue '/var/ossec/queue/ossec/queue' not accessible: 'Destination address required'. 2009/03/26 12:16:09 ossec-rootcheck(1211): ERROR: Unable to access queue: '/var/ossec/queue/ossec/queue'. Giving up.. On my ossec server, i get: 2009/03/26 11:59:15 ossec-remoted: INFO: Assigning counter for agent xxxxxx: '39:5243'. I have the ossec-webui installed and there the client is marked as inactive. The problem is that this occures only on the 2 particular servers, i have other Solaris 5.10 servers where ossec runs fine. Any ideas?
