So I've tried 2.2 official, and a couple of snapshots beyond, and I find very odd issues with alerts on new files. These issues on CentOS 5.3/5.4 x86_64.
I've seen dozens of 'file added' alerts sent from a client, when no new files have been added - only thing that happened was I restarted the agent. And as I've noted in a previous thread, none of the new files show up in a syscheck_control output. Are there any known issues in 2.2 with respect to the <alert_new_files> functionality? Is it working OK for people? -Alan
