Thomas, I've had this problem before too. Sometimes (don't know why or when) deleting agents leaves information in another directory that the ossec-wui was pulling information from.
Check in /var/ossec/queue/agent-info and see if the agents you removed are there. If so, delete those files then restart ossec and see if they go away. - Dave
