Congrats on your choice, Navid! For certs, I'd start with CompTIA Security+ It's cheap and easy to get; just take one test. By itself, not impressive, but it's still a good one to get because the higher certs require that you have more than one cert. Next cert I'd recommend is the GIAC Security Engineer. The biggest and hardest cert to get is the CISSP. There are many others that are vendor-specific but these are not.
