Hello Again, Ok, I figure that OSSEC starts up fine with connectivy to the DB. But after a few mitues, it show this error in the log file.
2010/08/04 16:23:46 ossec-dbd: Connected to database 'ossec' at 'localhost'. 2010/08/04 16:23:46 ossec-dbd: INFO: Started (pid: 10251). 2010/08/04 16:26:36 ossec-dbd(5202): ERROR: Error connecting to database '192.168.88.131'(ossec): ERROR: Can't connect to MySQL server on '192.168.88.131' (111) So, why would it connect fine, then have an error connecting to the database?
